Universal Vacations has been in business since 1987 and we opened our first office in New Port Richey on Florida’s Gulf coast. Primarily we were offering Property Management Services to owners who needed their property looked after whilst not in residence. Through this we noticed a niche in the market for vacation accommodations, so we started offering these types of homes to guests as an alternative to the usual hotel or motel accommodation. This self-catering type of vacation worked very well with the Europeans and grew at a rapid rate.  We soon started getting requests from travel partners and travel agencies throughout Europe because “We had a product that worked”. Then, like most businesses we felt the need to spread our wings and decided the way forward was to offer more Gulf Coast destinations to the ever increasing demand for quality accommodations. Now we operate offices in Sarasota/Bradenton, Fort Myers and Miami.
Over the last two decades we have built strong relationships with market leaders throughout the travel industry, such as Virgin Holidays, Thomson, Jetsave, Thomas Cook, First Choice, TUI and Chase Travel to name just a few.

To build the inventory of homes needed to fulfill our obligation to our travel partners throughout the US, Canada and Europe we started our Real Estate Corp. Universal Vacations Realty & Development and Universal Team Realty. These divisions of our full service company deals with the client on all levels of the sales process: from the original “first point of contact” at an overseas property expo or seminar to the closing and furnishings of the home. We have an edge over our competitors by offering the total package to our clients. Our biggest asset is our after sales care, where we offer full turn- key interior design, property management services and of course the rental of the property.

Universal Vacations has a strong business foundation and have strengthened as a result. We are already marketing our properties in the United Kingdom and plan on increasing activity over the upcoming months.
