TUI comments on recent FAM to Fort Myers
Universal Vacations along with the Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau and other Travel Partners from Ft Myers recently hosted a 30 strong FAM trip from representatives of TUI which included Thomson Holiday – Hayes and Jarvis – Jetsave and First Choice Holidays. The trip was aimed at giving Travel Professionals from the United Kingdom an insight of Ft Myers and the surrounding areas, showing the group around the area and making them aware of what Ft Myers can offer their clients when choosing an area to visit.
Universal Vacations hosted 20 of the group in its vacation homes whilst the remaining 10 visitors were accommodated at the Diamondhead Resort on Ft Myers beach, the group had a very busy schedule and visited many local attractions, with site inspections at The Pink Shell Resort – Sanibel Resort and Spa – and the Outrigger on Ft Myers Beach.

What a great trip think i actually love fort myers what a place, the villa was amazing and the heat mixed with the beach location was so great. Great trip great people great place.
Have to say, personally I loved the area. Tried to book clients into the Pink Shell for next April and its sold out, so glad they are doing well. Much more to do here for families than I expected and really enjoyed the laid back feel to it after being in crazy Orlando !!
Would have no issue recommending this to clients as part of a twin centre for Families or as a Couples destination. Thought the prices for breakfast etc were very reasonable in the hotels and the size and quality of the accommodation was outstanding.

we absolutely loved homes the standard, freedom and all the touches of home but in the beautiful fort myers area what a beach amazing!!! we loved that day experiencing the live music at outrigger topped it off
